Hello, so recently my laptop has been going nuts. I am the only user on the computer, and my account is an administrator account with full access. The computer is blocking me from accessing some apps due to the error saying' An Administrator has blocked you from running this app. For more information, please contact the administrator'. However, I am the only administrator on the computer and no one else is using it. Please try and help me, much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi {[(Atlas)]}

    Even though you are probably the only user of the PC and even if you are confident that you have administrator permissions, you will still need to use an alternate Administrator account to install a program.

    1. Type “Command Prompt” in your Search bar, right-click on it, and select “Run as administrator”.
    2. Copy and paste the following command in Command Prompt and click Enter. You should be able to see the “The command completed successfully” message in no time.

    net user administrator /active:yes

    1. Sign out of your current session by clicking on the Windows logo in the lower left part of your screen. Click on the account logo and select “Sign out”.
    2. Sign in to your Administrator account and wait for a couple of minutes.
    3. Locate the file you want to install and install it without any problems.
    4. Sign out of the Administrator account and go back to your original account.
    5. In order to disable this hidden Administrator account, you will need to access Command Prompt with admin right and paste the following command:

    net user administrator /active:no

    I hope it helps :) we'll be waiting for your update.
