  • Picture corrections reverts back to their original state when photo was first inserted in the document after exporting to PDF.

The problem is not resolved.  Vector files still do not export correctly.

    Hi arfo,

Thank you for following-up on this. Our Publisher team is currently pushing to get the fix out to MSI versions of Office 2016. We apologize for the delay but we will post back in this thread once the fix has rolled out.

    Thanks,

    Michelle V.

I do not understand why this has happened.  Is it a result of update to Office (I am running Office 365) or to Win 10

The workaround does give me the required results but the pdf file is more than 6 time the size making it too large to email to anyone.

I hope the fix happens soon.

The issue is fixed in Office 365 (2016) release, but it's now almost 4 months later and there is still no fix released for the MSI version of Office 2016???  Any timeframe on this?

First of all it is great seeing someone from MSFT stopping in and participating in the Publisher forum. Thank you.

Also thanks for pinning this article to the top of the forum for a while. I would like to see your other discussion post regarding the Live Preview functionality being removed from Pub 2016 also pinned. Both need some exposure and have been the subject of multiple posts.

I would like to make one comment on your workaround for the PDF issue. It is my understanding that the Microsoft Print to PDF driver is only available to Win10 users. Users that run older OS will probably need to use third party PDF tools until MSFT fixes the problems with the built in PDF tool in Publisher.

I see that the link you provided now goes directly to a support article describing this issue. Kudos for that. However again the workaround only works for Win10 users.

I also notice that in that support article you describe how to provide feedback using Office 2016. Again, kudos but again what about the rest of us? It sure would be nice to have a place to provide feedback for the millions that are still using older versions of Publisher and Windows.

Thanks again for giving some attention to Publisher users. They deserve it.
