Not all versions of the office suite include MS Access
Access: free download for students
I am a student and was told to go to Office 365 and download Access free.
I entered my student ID and password and everything downloaded but Access

Not FREE, but discounted:

You would need Office 365 NonProfit E3 ($4.50/user per month)
Now ... whether Students qualify or not, I'm not sure.
If not, I would talk to your instructor. Perhaps their license enables them to distribute their enterprise copy to students?
Edit:
I also found a link to Office 365 Education E5 ($6.00 / mo for students), but it's not real clear whether or not it includes Access. (but I think it does.)

Another option is to just "bite the bullet" (assuming that you'll want to retain your Office 365 Subscription after you graduate?) and just subscribe to Office 365 ProPlus at $12.00 / mo.
