O365 - changing from 32bit Teams to 64bit

Hi All
Bit of a complex question.
Teams machine wide installer has been installed on all the workstations, using MSI installer. They are all 32bit. O365 is also 32bit.
I am hearing O365 has teams included.

Now, some users are wanting to switch to 64bit office.
So to be clean, i thought i would switch Teams to 64bit as well. However, this is proving to be a bit trivial.

Firstly, i cannot use the XML config to uninstall the TEAMS that was installed using the MSI installer. I was hoping that while uinstall all components of 32bit office using the XML config, Teams will be uninstalled as well, but this is not to be the case. OK, i will use the trusty Msiexec /x to uninstall Teams. And O365 has now been reinstalled as 64bit version.

Now the second problem. Teams get installed to users APPDATA folder. So it appears, if the TEAMS is not cleared from the APPDATA folder, the update to 64bit wont work. Is this true?

Well, i cleared out all the TEAMS folders from one users APPDATA folder. Rebooted. When logged in, Teams did startup, as 64bit. Great!!
Now, there is another user on the same PC, who has been using Teams on 32bit before.
The second user logs in to the PC, and Teams is still 32bit. Has not been changed to 64bit.
Is this because the TEAMS data has not been cleared from the second users APPDATA?
If this is the case, is there a better approach to do this automatically?

Thanks
Dave

Important: Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.

    @David Moon ,

According to your description, your organization should clean up and redeploy Microsoft Teams by the following steps:

    1. Uninstall the Teams app installed for every user profile. For more information, see Uninstall Microsoft Teams.
    2. Delete the directory recursively under %localappdata%\Microsoft\Teams.
    3. Delete the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Teams\PreventInstallationFromMsi registry value.
    4. Redeploy the MSI package to that particular computer.
