Microsoft Remote Desktop app

Question

Hi All - i have a niggling issue with the Microsoft Remote Desktop app that i downloaded from the Micorsoft Web store

The IT dept published some apps on out RDS server and i was able to connect to it via a web address and using MS Remote Desktop Classic :

But it looks like they have "upgraded this app" to version 1.2.1810 and now anyone on this new version gets a certification revocation Unknown and cannot connect to the app. What is worse the older version is no longer available so anyone who does have the older app can connect and anyone with the new version cannot connect. Plus the thumbprint of the cert doesn't match any certs on the rds server or any on the on the local machine.

Does anyone know where the older version is available or how to resolve this issue?

1.Are you using public CA issued certificate or internal CA issued certificate? We can check it in "certificate issuer" in your above picture 2

2.the thumbprint of the cert is the serial number of that certificate, If you are using internal CA issued certificate, we can open "certificate authority" and find "issue certificates" like below picture.

3.Could you please check if the old remote desktop app use the same certificate as the latest remote desktop app?

1. Internal CA
2. There is no certificate issued by the internal CA that matched the thumbprint
3. How do i check what cert the old app (Remote Desktop Classic) uses?
