Yes you can do that ( I assume they would be syncing into the same tenant.)
As long as they are not operating on the same objects.
Note that Cloud Sync doesnt support Exchange Hybrid, but it doesnt seem to matter for your purposes.

Hey Everyone one of our customers have acquired another company and would like to intergrate them in there tenant to use only sharepoint and teams. I am thinking using AD Connect Cloud Sync would be the best option for this (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/cloud-sync/what-is-cloud-sync?toc=https%3A%2F%2Flearn.microsoft.com%2Fen-us%2Fazure%2Factive-directory%2Fcloud-sync%2Ftoc.json&bc=https%3A%2F%2Flearn.microsoft.com%2Fen-us%2Fazure%2Fbread%2Ftoc.json)
Has anyone used this before and run into any issues with the setup?
I don't see a problem with the head office using ad connect and the remote acquired company using cloud sync, but jut want to be sure there are no complications?
thanks
