Do the pre-built Windows 10 VMWare VMs work on ESXi 7.0.0?

I recently downloaded the VMware ovf from https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/virtual-machines/ and tried to deploy it on an ESXi 7.0.0 machine. I get stuck in a loop of preparing the automatic repair tool and I can't seem to fix it. Most advice that I can find says to use the command prompt advanced setting, but that is password protected and all of the passwords ("Passw0rd!" and iterations of that) I've found online don't work for it. I tried the same ovf on Fusion and it seemed to work fine. I assume I've done something wrong but I'm at a loss - could anyone help?

    Hi,

Thanks for posting on our forum!

Based on your description, you issue is related to Vmware and its relevant products (like Fusion). Vmware is NOT Microsoft product, so we may not be able to offer you appropriate solutions, you may need to directly contact Vmware's supporters.

I still did some research for you. Based on my investigation, Fusion may be required when you deploy OVF formatted Vmware image. Here is an article which explains Fusion more in detail:
    https://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/faq.html

    https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Fusion/12/com.vmware.fusion.using.doc/GUID-16E390B1-829D-4289-8442-270A474C106A.html
