Hyper-V Multiple monitors

Hello to All

My setup is the following. One private laptop and one business laptop. They are sharing two27 inch monitors, keyboard and mouse over a StarTech switchable docking station. When using my business laptop I would like to split the display of the VM over the two 27 inch monitors and use the laptop dispay separetley. The VM's in Hyper-V are using customer specific VPN Software that blocks internet connections. To still be able to access our company e-mail and other internet sources I would use the laptop display. The solution of using RDP for the connection to the VM will not work as positioning and resizing the RDP window is too time consuming.

If I remember correctly this was possible in VMWare and I cannot see why Microsoft should be unable to supply the same functionality. Can anybody help?

Thanks

Harry

    Hi Fumey,
Based on my understanding, your purpose here is to separate the vms onto 2 screens while you can go on with your laptop. Please correct it if I misunderstand.
I did some research and according to that there’s no built-in function in hyper-v.
Besides, I noticed that in this case you used StarTech switchable docking station to realize the screen sharing function. Since it’s a third-party tool,we can not provide you with further information.

    Thanks for your understanding.
    Best Regards,
    Danny
