My PowerPoint recently auto-updated to Version 16.10. I can no longer right click on an image to replace it. Is this feature gone? How do I replace photos now?

    Hi all,

Thanks for your posting here. The same issue has been reported in our forum. We have found the issue is with PowerPoint 2016 for Mac 16.10 (180210) on macOS 10.12.6. Moreover, we do also find that the same PowerPoint version works correctly on mac OS 10.13.3. The "Change Picture..." option does show when right clicking the inserted image. Therefore, we would recommend you update your OS to 10.13.3 and update your PowerPoint 2016 for Mac to the latest Production version 16.10 (180210).

We have set a primary thread. For more information, please subscribe to the following thread for the latest update.

Change image no longer an option in Powerpoint or Word for Mac

    Regards,

    Joshua

    Hi Cnvr_101,

Based on my test, I can right click then click “change picture” to replace another image in PowerPoint 2016 for Mac version 16.10.

If you still have the issue, please provide us the information below:

    1. The OS version.
    2. The screenshot about the right click pane with no “change picture” button.

    Thanks,

    Rena

Same for me. I am using PowerPoint 2016 for Mac version 16.10. Mac OS Sierra.

Screen shot attached. I can't find "replace image" anywhere in the menu either. Very frustrating.

Seems to be a bug in 16.10 with some Mac OS.

Doesn't happen here in 16.11 on High Serra but several people have posted the problem.

I have the same problem. Very very frustrating. It used to be there.

The "change picture" command is GONE.

Please, please do a patch for PowerPoint. I use this command all the time.

It does not matter if the image is jpeg, png, gif, etc. The command is gone.

I am also using PowerPoint 2016 Mac with Sierra 10.12.6

I did an update on Office a few days ago. I think it happened after the update

Sorry this picture is so large. I cannot see command to make it smaller.
