File Hover Card is causing problems in Document Library

Hello,

I've set up a new SharePoint Online instance at a customer and used the SharePoint migration tool to copy about a 200GB of files to this new environment. Now a few days later my customer is facing problems with the document libraries (all of them).

This problem occurs in all browsers (IE, Edge, Chrome, FireFox etc.), I have cleared all cache and stuff. The tenant is in built in Modern SharPoint UI

When you move your mouse over a file (the link-part), it generates a File Hover Card like this (this is at our own tenant):

But at my customer, if I hover my mouse on one file and then go to other files, and hover it on for like 1 second, suddenly the contents of the library are gone and am I forced to refresh my page to see the files again:

This problem is very irritating, it gives the user a very bad experience. It is clearly related to the Hover cards, is there some kind of way to disable those cards? Or does anyone have an other solution?

I have not yet found other threads that describes this problem, hopefully somebody has tips for me, Thanks in advance.

Thanks for posting in our forum.

Based on your description, the problem happens to all the document libraries which are migrated from another environment. So we'd like to confirm the following information to narrow down the issue.

1. Whether the problem happens to the newly created document library.
2. Does this problem happen to other users?
3. What SharePoint migration tool did you use, because based on my test, the problem doesn't happen after using SharePoint migration tool to move the files.
