Are we assuming a form in design mode?

Note sure the context of your question, since there are a “lot” of places where you can display properties for a given object.

The property sheet for a form can only show in layout view, and in design view.

Previous versions of Access (2000-2003) did allow display of the property sheet in form view, but since 2007, you can only display the property sheet in layout view, and in design view.

So do expand more on the “context” of your question – it not clear when and where you are attempting to display the property sheet, and it not clear what kind of object (form, report etc.) you are attempting to display the property sheet for.

So later versions of Access don’t display the property sheet in form view anymore.

    Hmm, try...

    • Press CTRL G to get an immediate window
    • Enter this:

         CommandBars("Property Sheet").Enabled = True

Then hit Enter on your keyboard.

No change noticed. I also went to Options & enabled all macros.

This could be a display resolution issue with the property box open but displaying off screen. If possible, increase your resolution or connect to a monitor with a higher resolution. Then go to design view to see if the box is visible. If so, dock it to the side or drag it to the middle, make a small change in the design, and save the object.
