ADUC - Can't open account properties from Find?
We have users that have been given the ability to view accounts and reset passwords. Delegation was set for reset user password and read all user properties. This worked find for years, but on Windows 10/Server 2016 they are unable to open the account from the Find window. If they browse through the OU and locate the user they can open the account, but if they perform a search they are unable to open any accounts directly from the search results either by double-clicking or by right clicking and selecting Properties. To make it even more confusing, if they select the account from the search results and choose Properties from the File menu on the search window.....that actually works.
We were using a saved MSC with a customized view, but I've ruled that out as being contributing factor. I'm running out of ideas on where to look.
