Hello

It this possible to use tthe Planner as Portfolio Management tool? For example, is it possible to assign the task to the team? How it's possible to include the hierarchy into the Project setup? Is this possible to view several Projects on one Board?

Thank you

Julia

Hi Julia,

In Microsoft Planner, we can assign a task up to 11 members. When assigning members, in the drop-down list, we see the name of the group members only.

Reference: Assign people to tasks

The integration of Project with Microsoft Planner lets you connect Project tasks to a Planner plan and track detailed work in Planner.

For detail information, please see Introducing new ways to work in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner: Linking Plans to a Project task

Thanks,

Neha

    Hi Julia,

In Planner, we can assign task to people not a group and the maximum number of people we can assign to a task is 11.

    We appreciate your understanding.

    Regards,

    Neha

    Not really I am afraid.

I want to have a team as an assignee and not several people.

The goal is to have the joint overview over several teams, not people in one team.

    Kind reagrds
