The envelope icon down side of screen has suddenly disappeared. This is what I hit when I want my e-mails to display. Even when I hit the envelope icon in the list of  'most used apps' it does nothing. How can I get my e-mails to come up?  Windows 10 by the way.

    Click Reset

    Restart

    Check the Store for updates

    For Outlook

    1. Open Outlook > File > Options > Mail > Under Message arrival, Show an envelope icon in the taskbar should be checked.
    2. Windows Key+I > Personalization > Taskbar > Select which icons appear on the taskbar > Switch On for Microsoft Outlook

    For Mail App

    1. Open Mail app > Settings > Notifications > Check here

I said in my text that I can't open my mail! That is the problem. So how can I do any of the things you suggest if hitting any of the envelopes does not let me into my mail????
