Hello!

When I am trying to redeem my product key, I get an error page that says "Service Unavailable. We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." It allows me to get to the point where I am selecting the download off 64 bits or 32 bits. Is there anything that I can do to help combat this? Thank you!

    Hi,

    I am encountering the same issue since last Thursday 19/12/2024 for a windows operating system. I am trying to download Office 2024 LTSC but it says the service is unavailable.

    I would appreciate if you could give me an alternate link to download the software. I have checked my office subscription but the key is not listed in my account.

    If you bought your software from another source, not Microsoft web site, ask them for install directions as they are different from ones of Microsoft website was used.

    I am getting "service unavailable" when I enter my Office key. Seems like several people are experiencing same issue.

    I am using a brand new pc so restarting doesn't help, nor does using a different browser.

    PLEASE HELP!!!!

    If you purchased your software from another source (i.e. Groupon), not Microsoft, the install instructions will be different. Your install instructions will be in the sale confirmation email they sent you, along with the key.

    The moderator here should know that and let clients know!!!!

    Same issue here, I cannot install Microsoft office.

    It happens on both chrome and edge on a new computer install with a new key.

    Need this fixed for work NOW!

    Hello Walt Nesbit,   Welcome to the Microsoft Community. I understand that you encountered an issue while trying to redeem your Office product key. This error might indicate a server-side problem causing the user interface to be unstable. Similar issues are usually resolved after some time.

    You can also try using a different browser to download the product. Sometimes, browser cache or profile errors can cause webpage issues.

    On the other hand, if you have already seen the product download page, it means the key has been redeemed to your account. You can try downloading the files from your Microsoft account page. Visit account.microsoft.com and go to "Subscriptions" to check if your subscription appears there and install it.

    Considering your post is in the Mac section, after ensuring your subscription has been added to your account (check the "Subscriptions" section on account.microsoft.com for this product), you can download the Office for Mac application from this link and log in to your account to activate it: Update history for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Learn
