Hi all,

A user came to me to advise they are unable to see channels on certain teams.

He is the only person on 1 of the teams and is also the owner on another team

I have been added to both teams can see everything.

The channels are all set as visible.

We have signed in and out as that what one suggestion was made a while ago + even changed to a new laptop same issue.

Any ideas?

    Hi Ashley Lee,

Thanks for reaching us in community!

For this issue, you can first let the user open a web broswer to check whether this issue happens on that team in Teams web app. As the owner, in the team, go to Manage team > Channels, recheck the "Show for me" and "Show for members". And try to create a new channel in that team to see if this problem persists for him/her.

    Best,

    Shawn

Ok. Yes. we did uninstalls and reinstalls today. No luck there. The channels definitely do exist because you cant create another channel with the same name. It lets us know the channel name exists. We also dont see the channels on the mobile or web versions. And this is for all channels created after around like March 12th. Interesting. We can see in the general channel activity feed that the channels were created but the hyperlinks to those channels are not live like they are for the channels created before March 12ish.

We are having this same issue with a client.  Some people are not seeing some channels.  Have tried these solutions as well as clearing the Team Cache to no avail.  They see them in the web client, but not the desktop client.

We are experiencing the same problem with newly crated channels as of today.

A workaround that I have found is to pin the channel. three dots on the tam name, manage, channels, select the channel then the tree dots again and select pin it.

It is then visible and selectable to be able to use it.

Hope this helps someone in the meantime.
