USB wont read. Says no media in Disk Management

I have 2 60Gigs Lexar USBs, out of the blue neither of them pop up in my computer. so i tried them in my mothers computer and they didnt show up there either. I changed the letter in disk management and that didnt help. it says no media. and they are full of my pics and vids from my last trip :( i really dont want to lose everything. what can i do?

    Hi Jeremy,

    There is a chance that this could be a hardware failure. When was the last time that you were able to use your flash drives? Let's try to run the hardware troubleshooter and check if it finds anything. Go to Control Panel >  Change view to Small icons > Troubleshooting > Hardware and Sound > Configure a device. You can also go to Device Manager > Scan for hardware changes. Note that you have to do this steps while the flash drive is plugged in.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks so much for your time John, so after running the troubleshooter, under problems found it said "hardware changes might not have been detected". Where should i go from here?

    So I plugged in a different flash drive and it read it and worked fine. Also i do not know of any software or hardware changes to my computer recently.

    Got it. Do you remember any software or hardware changes that has been made to your computer since then? If you happen to have another flash drive, can we try to plug it in and check if it works?

    ...And the last time i was able to use my flash drives was about 5 or 6 days ago.
