Is there any way to get an alternative to Internet Explorer?  My RT is running great and I bought it for OFFICE that was included in the

substantial price.  I need to be able to use what I purchased. 

MS takes planned obsolescence to a whole new level.

    There is an app browser called Sidekick that works

    HI All,

    Have you all been updating your Surface RT? 

    The last update actually stopped my IE browser working. Hence, I found the Sidekick Browser on the Microsoft Store.

    Go the Microsoft Store on your surface rt. Type Sidekick in the top right search area  and hit the search icon.

    Select the Sidekick Private Browser icon when it appears in the search results then "Install" button on the Sidekick Private Browser page in the Microsoft Store.

    Enjoy.
