Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on older Windows versions
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
On my MS Edge new tab page there is a link I did not put there called "Take Lessons"
It goes to a 1 star rated scam website that supposedly offers education but is on every scam reporting page I've looked at
I cannot delete this from my new tab page. It offers me a way to supposedly do it with a "Remove" button but it is still there
Definitely spyware behavior.
How do I get rid of this abomination?
Thanks

Good Day RobinTheBroker,
I appreciate your time getting back to this thread.
Here's the steps you can try.
Reset the Edge
-Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen.
-Go to Settings
-Look for Reset Settings
-Click Restore settings to their default values.
(This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.)
Restart and try to remove it.
If issue persists, re-install the Edge using this link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/d...
Download and install the version (100.0.1185.50)
Restart once done and try to remove it.
I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.
Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.
Sincerely,
Carlo T.
