MFA set up using authenticator app and/or alternatives

Question

I'm trying to find an MFA solution for our employees. We'd like for them to be able to utilize the Microsoft authenticator app but don't necessarily want them to default to using their personal devices. Is there a way to have the Authenticator app installed in their company device for them to use in that fashion? All the documentation I've researched is showing only mobile device usages. If there is no PC version of the Microsoft authenticator app, are there any suggested alternatives or workarounds? Maybe a third party authenticator app that's compatible to Azure AD?
