Network Share Access between Parent/Child domains

I'm in the process of replacing some old Windows 2008 domain controllers in our Parent Domain with new Windows 2019 domain controllers. I've added the new DC's to the domain and promoted them, and I'm noticing that I can't access any file shares on the child domain from these servers. However, I'm able to do this perfectly fine on the existing 2008 domain controllers. I'm having trouble tracking down what's blocking me on these new servers. Any ideas?
