Spacing between words

Does the Review function make sure words are spaced apart correctly?  I ask because I selected the Review function - to among other things - check for proper spacing between words but I think it either didn't do it or it didn't do a 100 percent accurate of job of doing it, because I had to correct the spacing manually as I was fortunate to see where I needed to decrease the spacing distance between two words

also, how do I verify that I have windows 10 and the latest office product edition

I ask because the Office product drop-down automatically set itself to office 2016 and the Office sub-topic drop-down automatically set itself to windows 8 so I left it that way but I'm supposed to have windows 10, but I don't know what office product edition year I'm supposed to have

    Hi ltj1975

    1

By correct spacing, o you mean there may be 2 spaces between words, if so, then review does not do that automatically, you can use find and replace to look for 2 spaces and replace with 1 space in the whole document . ..

    2

    To find your Windows version:

Click your Start Button, type winver and hit Enter

On the resulting dialog, what Version No. and build No. of Windows 10 are you running?

    3

    To find your Word Version:

In Word, go to File - Account - About Word, what version No is printed there?

In Windows 10, when you type winver on the Start menu and press Enter, you should see this dialog:

In Word, if you click File and then click Account in the menu on the left side, you should see this on the right side:
