Printing Problems Office 365, Excel, IPad IOS 13.2

Question

I am issues printing from Office 365 Apps for Excel and Word from an IPad running IOS 13.2. After the upgrade to IOS 13.2 and updates to the apps attempts to print from the Ipad, which normally use Air Print, return the statement “Can’t Print file. The workbook can’t be converted to a printable format”. The same workbooks or word documents print without problems from a Windows 10 device. I have searches however have not found this same situation or anything that might resolve the issue. I appreciate the help.

Similar problems when printing from Excel on IPad (Currently IOS 12.4.4).

Attempting to print using ‘Air Print’ or ‘Open in another app’ (which used to work OK) results in a message ‘’Use Office Connected Experiences’ then options: ‘Change Privacy Settings’ or ‘Cancel’.

Attempts to change privacy settings don’t work and ‘Cancel’ simply drops back to Excel.

Print using ‘open in another App’ still works OK in WORD.

Printing using ‘HP Smart’ is possible but formatting is unsatisfactory.

To print satisfactorily it is now necessary to open OneDrive file on PC.

Yes, there is not much "troubleshooting" to do when it comes to mobile device, Clear app cache, uninstall, reboot, download the last version from Apple Store and install again.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately the export attempt returned the message “**Can’t export file. Office can’t export your file right now. Please try again later. OK.”**Darn! perhaps I should uninstall the apps, reboot device and start over with a new i stall of the apps. I just can’t help but think that IOS 13.2 upgrade has something to do with this but Apple says not.

You could try to export the Excel worksheet to PDF format then print with Air Print.
