Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Hello, Isabela_730
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I realize that you want to get Office apps for free. I understand how you feel.
What device do you want to use Office on?
1 -> For mobile devices (Android/iPhone or iPad), if your screen size does not exceed the limit (10.1 inches.), you can directly use your current account to use the Office apps for free.
For more information, see: What you can do in the Microsoft 365 apps on mobile devices with a Microsoft 365 subscription - Microsoft Support
You can download the Office apps from the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android).
Here is a link: Download the Microsoft 365 Mobile App | Microsoft 365
2 -> For computers (Mac/Windows), you can use your current account to try Microsoft 365 for free for one month.
- Go to the following website and click “Start your free trial” to begin free trial. Free Trial - Try Microsoft 365 for a month - Microsoft Store
- Then, you can log in to this website: https://account.microsoft.com/services Download the Office apps on the “Subscriptions” page.
Please note: Turn off recurring billing to avoid unnecessary renewal fees.
I would like to inform you that Office is not a free product. After the free trial ends, you will need to purchase it yourself to continue using the Office apps. You cannot use Office app on computer for free forever.
To buy:
Monthly or annual Microsoft 365 subscription: Compare All Microsoft 365 Plans (Formerly Office 365) - Microsoft Store
Permanently One-time purchase: Buy Office Home 2024 for PC or Mac (formerly Home & Student) - Download & Pricing | Microsoft Store
I hope my reply will help clarify the situation. Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.
Best wishes,
