MS Teams error - "We can't get your files. We are working on getting them back".

Question

I have a customer who has recently created a new group within teams and wants to upload files for a group of about 6 people. When she created it, she was greeted with the error message "We cant get your files. We are working on getting them back". This doesent make sense though as no files have been uploaded yet as its a brand new teams group??????.

Dear MS,

I am experiencing this problem. Moreover EVERYONE in my team has this problem. No one can access our files anymore. As we are using teams as a space to work together on the same files, I'm pretty disappointed (that is an understatement) no one can access our files anymore and we can't get back to any of them.

It's been 2 weeks since I tried MS Teams. I am still experiencing the same issue up to now.. 

• I tried in web based MS Teams
• When going to Files Tab → error message: We can't get your files
• When click attachment button from the "sending message area" → error message: We are preparing your files...

I have tried remove all my teams and create again, but the same issue still occurs.

I have not tried with different email account, because I don't want to make a new email just for this MS Teams Issue..

Just dealt with this.  Tenant to tenant migration, files were missing on the destination side with the same message.  I only needed to hit the reload tab button in the upper right hand corner and everything was restored.
