Developer tab in Access missing in the Customize Ribbon menu

Hi,

I just found out the "Developer" tab is missing from the Ribbon. This is normal for new installations (even though mine is not), and I know how to enable it in "Customize the Ribbon". However, the Developer tab which needs to be enabled is not there. I have checked Excel and Outlook and the Developer is available and can be enabled. So, it's only Access where it's missing (see image, note that the "Dev" tab in the image is a workaround customized tab created by me).

I'm running Office 365 x64 (latest updates) on W10 Pro (latest updates).

I have fully repaired Office, but no luck.

BTW I noticed the tab was missing because my normal action to get into VBA with Alt-F11 didn't work, which is also new to me.

Does anyone have a explanation, or even better, a solution for these issues?

Thanks,

Rudi

    Unlike Word, Excel etc., Access does not have a Developer tab.

    There is a Visual Basic button in the Macros group of the Database Tools tab of the ribbon.

    @HansV

    I went looking for it because ALT-F11 suddenly didn't work anymore. I'm not sure, but I thought the developer tab used to be available in Access previously. I might have confused it with Excel.

    I just found the reason why ALT-F11 didn't work: It's Nvidia Experience. It is using it for in-game toggling.

    Thanks for your help.

    Good to hear that you were able to solve the problem.

    (Access has never had a Developer tab, since it is a developer tool. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher do have a Developer tab that you have to activate in File > Options > Customize Ribbon.)
