I am trying to enable OAuth for Thunderbird.

I have inserted Thunderbird into the Enterprise Application.

However, it still doesn't work.

How to check any steps that I am missing?

Hi Shron4222,

Thanks for your quick reply.

From your feedback, I checked on my side and I here didn't have Thunderbird application. For your current situation, if your organization set up single sign-in(SSO) authentication method, then it couldn't support for this application. Please refer to the article to check if app properties is correct:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/manage-apps/add-application-portal-configure

Besides, based on the steps and screenshot you provided, my thought is the same to yours, which the setup was finished. It may needs some settings or change about Thunderbird. Since the Thunderbird is third-party application and we aren't familiar with it, we also suggest you contact their support and post your current situation to get further and more efficient assistance.

If you have anything unclear, please feel free to let us know.

Regards,

Joey

    Hi Joey,

Firstly, I went to this url and clicked accept button:

    https://login.microsoftonline.com/c0eb4a37-9e5f-4242-ba6d-68abcb243421/oauth2/authorize?client\_id=08162f7c-0fd2-4200-a84a-f25a4db0b584&response\_type=code&prompt=admin\_consent

Then I went to Azure, Enterprise Application, select Thunderbird.

Here I clicked "Assign users and groups", and added the users.

Then I guessed that the setup was finished.

So I went to Thunderbird and tried to get mail.

But it prompted that the authentication method is not supported.

    Looking forward to your feedback.
