I purchased a new hp laptop and purchased Office 2021 home and student with it. I set up the laptop, downloaded the office suite from my microsoft account. I open Office, and its an app, which has a totally different look and feel from the original desktop version. I need the desktop version, not the app, or online version. I need to add pst. accounts to keep old emails from another laptop. How do i open the desktop version, not the app?

I did install office 2022, but whenever I open office, office 365 opens. I do not want office 365, I just want the desktop versions!

The Home and Student versions of Office do not include desktop Outlook.

You have to purchase a standalone version of Outlook or purchase a different version of Office.
