OneDrive Sync Conflicts Grayed Out - cannot collaborate or merge Office files

Dear community,

As the title indicates, I'm having trouble with my work account and collaborative work.

According to my IT Admin, I'm the only one in our OneDrive network that has this problem. According to IT Ad, there's nothing to be done on the Super Admin platform to change about my issue.

The select options for Sync conflicts is grayed out. I'm fairly confident that's the reason I'm experiencing these issues (see screenshot). How can we enable this?

I would greatly appreciate your help, this community has been able to share previous riddles in my work experience when all else seemed to fail. :-)

Hi Cindy,

Thank you for you reply.

I was able to fix the problem by re-installing Microsoft Office along with OneDrive.

My previous version was 2016, now I'm on Office 2019.

Sync conflict selections works fine now.

    Hi MD Kang,

Thank you for selecting Microsoft. We would do our best to help you if we can do something.

Per your description, we test on our end, and it works well, so we can’t reproduce your problem. And based on our research, we find the similar case OneDrive Sync Conflict Section Grayed out, we also know you have contacted your IT admin and other users don’t have the problem, but we sincerely request that you could contact your IT admins to test to enable this policy based on Use OneDrive policies to control sync settings, and then check whether the problem persists.

However, if the problem persists, we would think the problem may be related to your desktop client. So, we sincerely request that you could refer to this article to Troubleshoot OneDrive for Business sync issues.

Hope this can help you and hear good news. 😊 Have a good day!

    Best regards,

    Cindy
