Please help!!

Best,

janelle

An original cause of this issue was apparently the inclusion of a .gif image file in a document and that was addressed in an earlier update. It has however raised its head again and in one case that I am aware of it is due to the presence of an IncludePicture field as part of the argument of a MacroButton field.

This most recent occurrence (within the last couple of weeks) has been reported to the Word Product Team at Microsoft and they are investigating it.

It can be prevented from appearing by setting the DWORD (32-bit) Value of the DisableWarningOnIncludeFieldsUpdate key of the Registry to 1.  However, by default, that key does not exist and it is necessary to create it, which is something that many users cannot do because they may not be able to access the Registry due to Group Policy Settings.

I don't want to get rid of the message - I want to know what the fields are that can share my data! So I can delete them!

In a sensitive MS Word document, my Avast Security flagged this document saying:

    it is infected with malware...

    Threat name Threat type

File path Process Detected by Status Option

    OLE:RemoteTemplatelnj [Trj]

Trojan — This threat pretends to be something else (e.g.,

picture, document, or other file) to trick you into running it

    and infecting your computer.

Through a long process I got the file back (saved as a .RTF) file - and not being flagged by my anti-virus

I went to save it as a .docx file then I received this message

"This document contains fields that can share data with external files and websites."

I want to know what the fields are that can share my data! So I can delete them!

Can you tell which field is triggering the message?
