Hi Team,

I have tried all possibilities, checked all

Thank you for posting in our forum.

We understand that all the files are missing from your SharePoint online site document library. We’ll try our best to help you find the missing files.

Since you mentioned, you are getting “404 FILE NOT FOUND”, could you please confirm where do you see the error? Are you able to access the affected SharePoint online site? If so, please go to Site Contents and click Recycle bin on the top right corner. If you see your files, click the box to the left of the items or files you want to restore and click Restore.

When an item is restored, it is restored to the same location that it was deleted from.

If you don’t see the items in Recycle bin, click second stage recycle bin at the bottom of the Recycle Bin page.

Note*: You need administrator or owner permissions to use the site collection Recycle Bin. If you don't see it, it might have been disabled or you don't have permission to access it.*

Deleted items are retained in recycle bins for a certain period of time. For SharePoint Online, the retention time is 93 days. It begins when you delete the item from its original location.

If you don’t find the files in second-stage recycle bin, and if you are the admin and you have turned on Audit logging, then check the audit logs, for more information, please see Search the audit log in the Office 365 Protection Center

  1. Go to https://protection.office.com/.
  2. Sign into Office 365 using your work or school account.
  3. In the left pane, click Search, and then click Audit log search.

Important*: You have to first turn on audit logging before you can run an audit log search. If the Start recording user and admin activity link is displayed, click it to turn on auditing. If you don't see this link, auditing has already been turned on for your organization.*

Note: If you are a user and your admin have not assigned you proper rights, then you won’t be able to view the audit logs.

In any case, if you still can’t find the missing files, please reply and confirm when was the file deleted and please check whether there's a copy of the file on your local computer.

But Still am missing my file

    Dear Srinivas,

    Welcome to the forum here.

From your description, it seems that all files are missing in the SharePoint site you access and you have tried all the suggested suggestions and you can't find them.

If yes, given the situation, as there is a specific support channel where our related team is working on helping the users on data recovery in SharePoint Online, I kindly suggest you contact the administrator in your organization and let him open a support ticketto our related team as soon as possible so that they can further help you to see if they can restore the data for you in your environment.

Sorry for that our category may have limited resources on the further data recovery.

Meanwhile, if the issue in your environment is that you can't access the site when you type the site URL https://contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/sitename in the browser. The root cause may be that the site home page has been deleted. You may let the site owner go to the page library to recreate or restore the site home page to see the result.

Thanks for your understanding and have a nice day!

    Cliff
