Reading Data from an Excel stored in One Drive using Python (Enterprise Microsoft Account)

Hi Team,

Could you please assist me in reading the data from an excel sheet stored in One Drive using Python? I am able to read the data if I use my personal account, however, the same steps do not work when using an enterprise Microsoft account.

The steps that I am following are:

1. Share the excel file stored on OneDrive and then copy the link.
2. Convert the URL to a direct download URL
3. Use the above created URL in order to read the data using Python.

The steps I followed are as shown in the article below:

The steps that I followed work if the one drive excel sheet is of my personal account. However, the same does not work if the sheet is stored in an enterprise/company Microsoft account.

Any help in troubleshooting this issue will be much appreciated.

Moreover, to narrow down whether this issue is related to the permissions, you may make sure that the file is shared with the permission “Every with the link can edit”.
