Scan to Sharepoint not working

Hi Everyone,

Hoping someone may be able to help.

We have a couple of customers who we provide HP Copiers to. They are using the built in Scan to Sharepoint function in the copier.

Since about the start of July 2021 this has been failing. When the copier tries to connect to Sharepoint it gives the following error:

"The path was not found or the certificate used to communicate with the server was invalid"

We have checked the path is correct and the office 365 credentials used to authenticate are valid. Also cleared the certificates. Unable to find a fix for this, Has anyone come accross this?

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for posting in the community.

According to your description, the built-in feature Scan to SharePoint in the HP printer didn’t work. May I know whether users are able to access and save files on the SharePoint sites?

If the issue only exists using the built-in feature Scan to SharePoint, based on my search, please try the methods in the reference to troubleshoot the issue. Check if it helps. If the issue still exists, since the issue is related to the HP printer, I would like to suggest you contact HP Support for help.

***Disclaimer:***Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites or any support related to technology.

If the issue also exists in users accessing and saving files in the SharePoint sites, please point it out and let me know.

    Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Regards,

    George
