Accessing the Camera on a Hyper-V vm windows development image
I am fully incensed this is not easy. But it is impossible. There are solutions that hand jam it to work that have components I don't even have on my group policy change settings.
I just want my new VM to use the audio and the video capabilities. This should not be either hard to grasp that I want to do this, or that I want to do it without breaking my entire machine and without a lot of headaches, or performing surgery on files to force the actual correct menus to pop up and rebuild them. This is not a good solution architecture, it's a screw up.
I am trying to USE this, not become a windows security VM expert par extraordinaire. Why is this so hard and Why has it not been addressed as mission critical functionality to this system, obviously a lot of time has been put into this, why not make it work so it is usable without all the heartbreak.
THERE IS NO CORRECT SOLUTION PRINTED ANYWHERE.
The forum solution is a beat on it till it worked approach and I cannot believe this is the right way to do this?
