    thanks for the reply :D

so in my azure account i have 2 tenants, the initial one, in which the custom domain is verified and where i use Azure Front Door, and another one with Azure AD B2C. I've tried verifying the domain in the second tenant, but i can't because it was already verified in the first one and i can't delete it from the first one because the domain matches my email address. What should i do?

This error can occur if your custom domain hasn't been successfully registered and verified in the B2C tenant, Make sure the custom domain is registered and successfully verified in your Azure AD B2C tenant. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-b2c/custom-domain?pivots=b2c-custom-policy#step-1-add-a-custom-domain-name-to-your-azure-ad-b2c-tenant

The other reason this can happen is if your new domain is not whitelisted in your firewall, which would prevent you from communicating with the service.
