Word and Excel Re-open On Their Own Immediately After I Close Them

I am using Office 365 / Windows 10. Almost every time I close either Word or Excel, it re-opens on its own within about 5 seconds. Sometimes this happens more than once. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. You may perform an Online repair of your Office application. The Repair function scans your Office program and replaces any damaged or corrupted files it finds.

    To do this, please follow the steps:

    1. Right-click on Start, then select Apps and Features.
    2. Scroll down to find Microsoft Office product.
    3. Select that and choose Modify.
    4. Select Online Repair.
    5. Once the process is complete, you may need to restart your computer.

    If online repair did not work, you may completely uninstall your Office using the easy fix tool. Please check out the link below and scroll down to “Option 2 - Completely uninstall Office with the uninstall support tool”. From there, kindly follow the steps provided. Once the process is complete, you may now reinstall your Office.
