Using basic disk and dynamic disk in Windows 10

Hi,

There are two scenarios as below:

First scenario
Out of 1TB of hard disk, 100GB is used for installing Windows 10. Rest space is as Unallocated.
Volumes created using rest space.
In Disk Management, C: is as a Basic disk and reset volumes are as Dynamic disk.

Second scenario
While installing Windows 10, 100GB partition allocated for Windows 10. At the same time, other volumes created. After Windows installation, in Disk Management, all volumes including C: are basic disk.

Is it correct, Second scenario is recommended for maximum lifespan of the disk?

Please clarify. Moreover, if any references, pls share.

    Dynamic disks are no longer recommended.
