How are you creating the application? Why do you want them called the same thing? If they are not visible what is the end goal of having them called the same thing?

Hi Team,
In our client environment we are using MECM 2002 version, We are tying to deploy an application but the same is not visible for any users even though we deploy to the same user collection for which nearly 250+ apps are already deployed and visible in software center. Can you let me know if there is any limitation for number of application with same display name in software center ?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
1,After a lot of search, I haven't found the document about number limitations. Per my experience, There are no hard-coded limitations.
2,As Configuration Manager version 2002 is out of lifecycle, it's recommended to upgrade to later version to have a try. Some known issue about application display in Configuration Manager version 2002 for your reference:
Applications were not seen in Softwarecenter
Application blade times out in Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center
Best regards,
Simon
