problem detected Microsfot AutoUpdate error on Office for mac

I recently reinstalled the whole Office 365 for mac package with OS Ventura (13.0) and since then, Microsoft AutoUpdate does not work. Everytime the system start, or an office app launches, there is a Problem Detected with Microsoft AutoUpdate error message.

Using the "OK" button redownloads the application > still same error

Delete manually the MAU2.0 folder in Library/Application Support/Microsoft > still same error

Can someone help find a solution to this? If i remove the app, then office apps no longer offer the check for update menu (how is that for a design flaw??!!) so i can not manually update the office package either, basically forced to install MAU yet is constantly fails after each delete/reinstall

Has someone been able to fix the issue?

Thanks

    none of these work

deleted all Preference com.microsoft.XXXX files, the com.microsoft.autoupdate.fba (which BTW is not in this folder but in the Group Containers folder), the line of code, nothing works

It came after OS Ventura was released so maybe something Microsoft has not fixed yet?

why does this only happens to MS products...

    Dear Yann_NL,

    Thank you for the reply.

Since you have already tried most of the suggestions, the problem persists. You can also try to switch to a new Mac user account, sometimes the issue is caused by a specific corrupt user profile.

    Sincerely,
