Access Copy Paste 1 record takes forever

Copy a record in a Table takes forever, around 5 minutes!!!

For several years prior Copy would take 1 nanosecond. Now after about 5 minutes I can finally Paste Append the record. Before that time I get the dreaded "Not responding" message but after several minutes that goes aways and the database works as expected until I try to copy again. Happens all the time now with COPY in this database. I have a few other databases where Copy is immediate so seems to be just this one database that is accdb created Dec 2019 3.7 MB just 1 table with 6808 records Office 2019 Access version 2210 build 15726.20202. Fields are all Short Text or number, plus 1 Date and 1 AutoNumber that is primary Key. Nothing else has a delay except for COPY. Database has a bunch of Select queries that run immediately.

Started happening after upgraded to Window 11 22H2. Maybe coincidence. Office Updates are automatic so everything up to date and unsure when last Office Update was.

Again this just started happening and I have been using Copy + Paste Append 1 record for years with no issue. If I wait long enough it works but who can wait that long really. I tried copying the database but same thing happens. One thing that does work is CUT (instead of COPY) the record then PASTE APPEND it twice so I get back the original plus can edit the duplicate but that is a bizarre workaround.

Cant think of anything else to try since Copy-Paste Append is pretty simple. I did not try an Append Query since Copy-Paste should work and is simpler for a novice like me.
