You can follow our - Use Azure Defender for container registries to scan your images for vulnerabilities documentation, to get started with using the built-in vulnerability scanner to scan the container images stored in your Azure Resource Manager-based Azure Container Registry.

Quick question - does this solution includes Windows Container Images as well in ACR or Private ACR ?

Thank you for the quick follow up on this!

I apologize for the confusion, but after reviewing our documentation, it looks like Azure Defender for container registries doesn't support Windows images or 'Private' registries as of right now. I've reached out to our Security Center team to see if they can provide any additional inputs on this.
