Which then gets immidiately updated again...?

Are there any updates on this issue yet? We are unable to use OneDrive because even reverting back to 23.054.0313 results in an immediate update to the 23.061 and then the app doesn't open. Thank you for working so hard to get this resolved for all of us out here!

"However, if you still wish to avoid updating the app, you could try uninstalling it and then reinstalling an older version of the app that you prefer. Keep in mind that this might compromise the stability and security of the app."

Which then gets immidiately updated again...?

I know that OneDrive is no longer supported on Catalina, but pushing an update, which makes it impossible to use it, and not having a switch to turn of the update..? The version 23.054.0313 would work fine, but gets updated after a few hours or even minutes.

    Thanks I guess?

Hello Mile, thanks for coming into forums.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in option to disable automatic updates for the OneDrive app on MacOS High Sierra. Updating the app ensures that you have the latest features and bug fixes and is usually recommended.

However, if you still wish to avoid updating the app, you could try uninstalling it and then reinstalling an older version of the app that you prefer. Keep in mind that this might compromise the stability and security of the app.

    Hope this info helps.

    Warm Regards, Myk

Thanks, I tried this more than ten times. It didn't work. Blocked and later uninstalled Microsoft AutoUpdate, but I got the same result.

    Hi Mile P,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I am Blessing, an independent advisor here and a Microsoft user like you.

Microsoft AutoUpdate provides updates to various Mac products from Microsoft.

    Yes you can disable Updates:

First, launch Finder and type microsoft autoupdate in the search bar, Microsoft AutoUpdate from any Office programs Help menu then Check for Updates. Uncheck the box 'Automatically keep Microsoft Apps up to date'

Or choose ‘Advanced’ where you can choose which type of Office to get. Production is the usual or one of the Insiders options.

Make sure ‘Automatically download and install’ is OFF.

Updates to the Office apps are disabled until specifically re-enabled.

To enable automatic update, find link below: https://support.microsoft.com/office/bfd1e497-c24d-4754-92ab-910a4074d7c1

    Hope this helps!
