Hi there,

I am attempting to login to a MS365 account for a side business that's on a custom domain. e.g. *****@domain.com

When entering the correct password, "You don't have access to this" with "Error Code: 530035"

As I can't log into the admin portal, I am pretty stuck to get any further help...

If there is another Global Admin in your organization, please contact them to figure out if they've created any conditional access policies for application access from various locations. Because global administrators can also create policies with multiple conditions and actions via the Azure portal. • May I please know the operating system are you using? At the same time my I confirm that you get same behavior when you use different Pc?

    Hi Inema,

As mentioned in our private message, I was able to get someone else to try log on using their private computer (Win 10, not on a domain). They never received the "You don't have access to this" prompt, and instead were asked to set up two-stage authentication. After setting that up, I could log in on my PC.

I note that my PC belongs to a corporate network and my corporate MS365 login was automatically logged in. I had to "Sign in with a different account".

    Hope this helps someone else.

For completion, I answered your questions below.

    Kind regards,

    Rob

May I please know if you created any conditional access policy to access application from different location?

This is a single-user account that has a custom domain and is used for email and office. So no other admins or users.

May I please know the operating system are you using?

    Windows 11 Enterprise 22H2

NB My machine belongs to a different domain.

Could you please provide the entire screenshot of this error you are experiencing via private message for further analysis and the privacy of your data?

    As a reference for others,

    Hello Rob,

Try to use your mobile and connect to the internet via mobile data not wifi and use any browser to open outlook online and try to login to that account you are facing the issue with, it will work and ask you to enable multi factor authentication MFA, after you enable it you can relogin on your laptop or whichever pc you saw the error on before while logging in, it will work.
