The storage metrics option in the SharePoint is displaying incorrect sizes of the folders/file.
When I have checked the details of the folders/file, they are less than 1MB, but in the storage metrics page the size of the same file is displayed as 15GB. Can someone please help me resolve this issue and help me get to know the correct storage details?

Dear M Bhaskar,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you
Check to see if the document library has versions enabled. While the total storage of the latest versions is only 1MB, it's likely that retaining a number of versions have pushed that amount up to 15GB. To minimize the storage impact, you can change the number of versions saved or disable versioning on that document library or list.
You can view the storage metrics page at . This will show both the site of the latest document as well as view the Version History with the size of each previous version.https://contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/sitecollection/_layouts/15/StorMan.aspx
