Hello, I have a dev tenant that I was using to test hub sites a while ago. Somehow I created a bunch of hubs to associate my sites with. These hubs have no registered sites associated with them. I want to go back and create a base web site that will be used as the frame for all the other web sites that will be associated with. Since the old hub names were never associated with a site there is no root associated site to do that with.

How can I remove these old hub names (that show up in hub association) that were never registered as a hub on a site?125080-hubquestion.png

    Hi @Bob Sieloff ,

Per my understanding, usually the Hub site will be registered.

    Take an example:
The site TeamSite1 is registered as hub site dd, what we see is dd (Hub site):

When other sites use dd, only dd will be displayed:
    125535-40.jpg

So generally speaking, if you want to remove a hub site, first find the registered hub site, and then operate on the UI or use powershell to remove it.

    Hi ElsieLu,

Thank you for your reply. I agree with you, however in the past I seemed to be able to skip the registration process and now I have those orphaned names in my drop down menu that I would like to remove so that I can set them up correctly. Deleting them is where I'm getting stuck. Any ideas?
