So I'm trying to make a QR code system in which people answer a survey this is for a large company the issue is I need that survey to have a live response excel sheet which can be done by creating the form from one drive but because it is in one drive only people within the organization can access the form due to cyber security. I was hoping that only people who are in the organization can view the excel sheet but anyone can fill out the survey. I know it seems you can achieve this by selecting the anyone can respond on the MS Form but it doesn't work.

    Dear user12345107,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

We'd like to help you. Please let us cooperate, we can work together to narrow down the resolve the situation.

You mentioned "I was hoping that only people who are in the organization can view the excel sheet but anyone can fill out the survey. I know it seems you can achieve this by selecting the anyone can respond on the MS Form but it doesn't work. "

We tried to test from our side and it seems it worked.

We created a Form in OneDrive for business, it generated a live response Excel sheet in OneDrive for business. Then we collected response for the Form by selecting "Anyone can respond" and downloaded the QR code.

We scan the QR code, we can fill out the form without needing to sign in account.

But for accessing the Excel sheet in OneDrive for business, it still requires permission. We firstly shared the Excel sheet by getting a sharing link with permission "People in organization with the link can view". To access the link, it requires to use an organization account to sign in. That means sharing the Excel sheet is separate, people who can access the form may not have permission to access the Excel sheet.

May I know how did you share the Excel sheet that stored in OneDrive for business? Which permission level did you use? Did you use "People in organization with the link can view"?

Regarding "I know it seems you can achieve this by selecting the anyone can respond on the MS Form but it doesn't work. "

could you share more information about the issue? When it doesn’t work, do you get any error message?

Thanks for your time and cooperation! We hope you stay safe and healthy always.

    Sincerely,

Hi thanks for responding from running further tests with a colleagues phone it appears to be working as intended I then switched my default browser from chrome to safari which is what he was using and it worked on my phone also. I then tried clearing all my chrome data and browsing history and the issue persisted. I then uninstalled Chrome and re downloaded the app and it would then allow me to fill in the form using Chrome. the error I would receive is below when I tried to enter MS. Forms and it was definitely the correct QR code link. I also was trying with a different MS. Form that I set up as a test run and would encounter the same error message. I had deleted a survey that I previously entered using chrome which was not linked to one drive but I was definitely not using that QR code but before I deleted it that's where the new QR code was sending me hence why I deleted it. I'm unaware why the issue was occurring but you can consider my issue solved thanks for your help Rgds Sean. if you have any more questions about what was happening let me know.
