Help,

I wanted to use my emailadres private for TEAMS and found out it somehow was a free business account I never asked for.
I seem to be admin of some organisation at teams and should remove it with Azure.

I found this documentation:

https://support.microsoft.com/nl-nl/office/uw-organisatie-van-teams-gratis-verwijderen-2c28cfcf-3fbf-497c-938f-8815a8f6a6b9

I followed all the steps, but somehow I can't finish step 7 after more then 72 hours.
I can't delete the "tenant" it says I should log in as an admin or something, but I am, its the only account and member in this organisation.

When I deleted all the stuff as mentioned accept for that last one. I can't remove that last one. I get to this page:

https://learn.microsoft.com/nl-nl/azure/active-directory/enterprise-users/directory-delete-howto#prepare-the-directory

I get this tekst: Er is vastgesteld dat uw huidige gebruikersaccount buiten deze tenant valt. Meld u af en weer aan met de referenties voor globale beheerder en gebruik hierbij de eerste standaardomeinnaam, bijvoorbeeld gebruiker@Company portal .onmicrosoft.com.

translated: it says this user account doesn't fit into this tenant and I should log of and onf with the refrences of global admin .... But I AM logged in with that admin account and when I watch that account it SAYS I'm global admin.

And now I don't know what to do anymore to get rid of this Teams Organisation I never ever wanted.

PLease Please someone help me.

    @D H
Thank you for the quick follow up!

I tried to replicate your first screenshot, but wasn't able to get a role for my signed in user using the "Switch Tenant" option to view my tenant details. For your second screenshot, can you select your user (DH) -> Select Assigned Roles -> Confirm you're assigned the Global Admin role. If you aren't a GA, can you try selecting "Add assignments" to assign that role to your user (if possible).

If you're still having issues deleting your tenant, please let me know and I can definitely have our support team take a closer look into your environment and issue.
Thank you for your time and patience throughout this issue.

    Oke,

Somehow I seem just to be member although I signed in with the account I looked up according to those instruction.... the ******@xxxxxxxx.onmicrosoft.com one.

Also I am and was always the only member in this group/tenant.
I added a screenshot where I could really see I AM the global administrator of that Tenant.

Although according to the other place I am just member (lid)

    Although the only member.

I hope you can help me.
