Thank you so much for your reply.

However there is only an option for me to export at a PDF, but I want to be able to edit the text afterwords.

Is there a way for me to get/copy this text, along with all the bullet points?

Thank you so much for the help!

I'm not sure why you are being given this misinformation...

Go to File> Print then select Outline from the Layout list:

All [but only] Placeholder content will be included.

Hello, thank you so much for your reply.

I have tried both methods, but they do not copy the original bullet points that were made in the slides. Both methods also copy all of the slide/page numbers, which is quite annoying to delete each one.

Is there a method/ option that will allow me to copy all of the text, along with the bullet points?

    Thank you.

    Dear respected Hannah Bui,

Good morning! Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community.

We understand your demand to export the outline only in PowerPoint for Mac application, but we're sorry to convey that currently there has no out-of-box feature to realize it automatically. You may submit your feedback to let the product development team get informed of this requirement to offer a better user experience.

However, there has some workarounds to achieve this shared by other community members and MVPs.

1.Click File> Save As/Export > Rich Text Format (.rtf) from the Format list. It will contain only the Text from the Title, Subtitle & Content placeholders as an outline of the presentation's content. Any text in Shapes or Text Boxes will be excluded & no graphic content will be excluded.

2.Switch to the Outline pane in PPT, select & copy the content there, then paste to a Word document to edit the outline content simply.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely

    Mia | Microsoft Moderator
