Hello,

I am trying to run a ANOVA with two-factor without replication, however, I keep getting this alert that my input contains non-numeric data. I have tried to format it as a number and by using the text to column function but nothing seems to work. I do have data missing in my table but there is at least one values in each row (so I should be okay). I looking to find the ICC therefore I need the ANOVA information to do so. Please help.

Could you share a screenshot of your data and issue? It will help to reproduce your issue and find the cause.

    Hi,

Here are two possible reasons you are getting that error message:

    1. Your range has titles at the top which are being included but Labels in unchecked.

    1. Your data looks like numbers but the cells into which they were entered were formatted as Text. The easiest way to take care of this problem is to select a blank cell and copy it. Then select all your data cells (not the titles) and choose Paste, Paste Special, Add, OK.

    Hello,

Here is a screenshot of what my data looks like. I have a feeling it is due to the blank cells but I cannot fill or remove the the blank cells. Not all participants completed during competition but I need to have the data for the ones that do. I don't know if that makes sense. I am ultimately looking for the ICCs for each individual grouping (I.e., they are different teams). However, I still keep getting the non-numeric input alert.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

    Hi Shane,

Yes the label box is checked when I try to run the ANOVA. Additionally, I tried the copy and paste but still no good.

For the first group I have excluded person 2 in the anova as they do not have an data points whatsoever.
