Every time I turn on my computer, the "sign in Microsoft Family Features" pops up. I have tried:

  • Removing myself from family group per https://account.microsoft.com/family/home (already listed as an adult there)
  • Checking start up options (doesn't show up)
  • Looking at uninstalling Microsoft Family Features (doesn't show up)
  • Deleting the Microsoft Family Feature folder
  • Telling my firewall not to let it through

Every time I did one of these steps, I turned off and back on my computer, and still each time it persisted. Make it stop!!!

I managed to get rid of it by going to the same services.msc window but instead of micorsoft family features (which wasnt there) I stopped ''Parental Controls'' and it hasnt shown up again in the last 20 minutes

I am also very angry because when i'm trying to play minecraft like a regular person the pop up appears and throws me off guard. When i go to the services.msc the family features option isn't there. The pop up keeps yapping about signing in so i "don't miss out" I can't with Microsoft

I've just tried the same routine - found something under Parental Controls not Family Features. Have told it to stop running just going to reboot and see what happens. Microsoft need to get their act together - this is a major pain in the backside and should be a simple shut off via settings if you are signed in to an account as an adult. It not only pops up all the time when I am trying to work but refuses to let me access some of my supplier accounts to order items for my business.

    THERE IS THE SOLUTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I'm not English so maybe the words in the instructions won't be exact but try to search for synonyms)

Look at the following comments for maybe better indications...

So, go to Microsoft website -> connect to your account -> go on your profil -> go on "Devices" -> remove your computer from registered devices.

    This worked for me !

If you can create a better comment with the good words, please feel free.
